Curing Kids Cancer

The Atlanta-based nonprofit partners with KIRSH Helmets, Motorcycle Safety Lawyers®, and Motorcycle Knuckle Busters Podcast to raise awareness for childhood cancer research.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Atlanta, GA – Curing Kids Cancer is excited to announce a new partnership with KIRSH Helmets, an American-made helmet company, Motorcycle Safety Lawyers®, and Mario Crim, host of Motorcycle Knuckle Busters Podcast, to bring awareness and raise money for childhood cancer research.

Curing Kids Cancer helps fund Car T-cell therapy, a life-saving treatment, which, if the hospital can provide the treatment, only costs $25,000 for one child. To bring awareness that $25,000 can help save a child’s life, KIRSH Helmets will be commissioning 25 artists from around the country to design a custom helmet. These helmets will then be part of a social media campaign where followers can vote, and KIRSH will produce the fan-favorite design. The winner will also receive $5,000 from Motorcycle Safety Lawyers®.

The original 25 helmets will then be auctioned to raise money directly for Curing Kids Cancer. These helmets will begin to cross the block at five different Mecum Auctions in 2023, with exact dates to be announced.

”We’re so excited and honored to be working with KIRSH Helmets on this amazing, creative and fun project! What a privilege it is to work with such generous and talented people. By combining the three worlds of helmets, art, and childhood cancer, we will produce something that will help to save the lives of these children and give them back their childhood. This gift of hope is a rare and precious gift to be able to give! Indeed, it is truly priceless!” said Grainne Owen, founder of Curing Kids Cancer.

KIRSH Helmets manufactures and produces motor vehicle crash helmets, and their helmet is the only one entirely made in America. Its mission is to reduce the number of crash-related head injuries by bringing a more effective helmet to the marketplace for riders.

Mario Crim is the host of Motorcycle Knuckle Busters, a weekly podcast that discusses the latest in the motorcycle community.
